I can't stop thinking about how fragile life can be. It’s so sad to hear about the loss of Demond Monta Easter, especially knowing he had just reunited with his family after years away. I can only imagine how much they cherish now having had that time with him, although it was way too short. It must have been incredibly difficult for his fiancée and children, having future dreams and plans suddenly shattered. For the community of DeKalb, losing someone who had roots there, who came back to start anew, must feel like a heavy blow. I wonder if there are community support programs in place to help them cope with this tragedy? Having a strong support network can make such a difference during these times. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved him.
