Has anyone else been following the Jackie Shelby case in Italy, Texas? I just can't stop thinking about how much the local community must be reeling from this senseless tragedy. It's eerie how it happened right in their neighborhood on Rosemond Lane, a place where many have probably felt safe for years. What I find particularly jarring is that it happened in the early evening when people are usually winding down their day. I’ve read that Jackie was deeply involved with his community, especially with Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. It’s always devastating to hear about someone who was so connected and cherished by their family and friends meeting such a violent end. I really hope the authorities are able to make progress soon and bring some peace to his loved ones. If anyone hears any updates or notices something suspicious, please don’t hesitate to report it. It’s times like these when community solidarity is crucial. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. ?
