I've been following the case of Reggie W. Smith and Crystal D. Fitzgerald since it was first reported, and can't stop thinking about the impact on their families and community. I can't imagine the pain Reggie’s children and mother, Ruthie, must be feeling right now. Losing a parent is unimaginable, especially in such a sudden and violent way. It's so important that the community continues to support them and keep their memories alive. What I find particularly haunting about this case is the close-knit community they were part of. It seems like everyone knew Reggie, and with his involvement in local jobs and the church, he must have touched a lot of lives. I hope the community comes together even more now to provide strength and unity for his family and Crystal's loved ones, who are surely also struggling. Let's hope justice will be served swiftly and accurately for both families. Thinking of their children, relatives, and friends right now, and sending them strength during these difficult days.
