I keep thinking about the situation from the perspective of the woman who was on the date with Aguirre. Can you imagine going out for a seemingly normal evening, and then everything turns into a nightmare? According to reports, she cooperated with authorities and wasn't charged, but how must she be feeling now? Witnessing something so shocking and then realizing you were with someone capable of such violence must be incredibly distressing. I can't help but empathize with her situation. It’s an entirely different type of trauma than the Nix family is experiencing, but it’s still a traumatic reaction to being so close to the crime. How do you even process or trust your judgment after an event like that? Hopefully, she has people supporting her through this. It just goes to show how many lives can be affected by one tragic incident.
