I’ve been following the tragic case of Dummene "Lucky" Kponi and just can’t stop thinking about what his loved ones must be going through right now. I read that his family has started a GoFundMe campaign to help with the funeral costs, and it really hit me how suddenly life can change. Lucky was only 22, with his whole future ahead of him, and the fact that his life was cut short in such a violent way is just unimaginable. The part that really sticks with me is how the other three suspects are still out there. It must be unbelievably hard for his family knowing that justice hasn't fully been served yet. I sincerely hope that more people come forward with information so those involved are held accountable. If anyone’s in the Houston area or knows something, I really hope they contact the authorities or Crime Stoppers. We can’t bring Lucky back, but we can certainly try to help his family find some peace and closure. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved him.
