I've been following the Kimberly Alexander case, and something that I found particularly unsettling is how the absence of forced entry was handled in the investigation. It really makes you think about the nature of trust and safety within one's home. To know that Kimberly likely didn't realize she was in danger until it was too late is incredibly chilling. It’s a daunting reminder of how vulnerable we all can be, even in the places where we feel most secure. Kimberly seemed like such a warm and loving presence in the lives of her family and community. Her sudden loss left a void that I’m sure is deeply felt by everyone who knew her. It’s heart-wrenching that her own home wasn't the safe haven it should have been. I hope our discussions here can in some way honor her memory and bring a bit of solace to those she left behind, by providing a space to share thoughts and offer support.
