Hi everyone, I wanted to discuss something that has been on my mind about the Ankia Sanchez case. I came across some information that I think hasn't been emphasized enough—the role that the new alert systems in Oklahoma have been playing in missing person cases like Ankia's.
I think these systems could be a game-changer, but do we know how effective they actually are, especially in cases like Ankia's where there are no confirmed leads? These alerts seem promising, especially since they involve real-time notifications to the community. But I wonder if they're truly making a difference, or if the lack of leads in Ankia's case suggests there's still a lot of room for improvement.
If anyone has experience or insights on how these alert systems have worked in other cases, or even specific to Oklahoma, that would be really interesting to hear about. Maybe there are lessons we could advocate for to improve these systems further. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
