I’ve been following Fred’s case closely, and something that stands out to me is the deep betrayal on top of everything else. It’s tough to wrap my head around the fact that Kahlis had once been helped by Fred’s family. They took him in when he needed a place to stay, only to have this horrible incident happen. It's unfathomable how someone could turn on a family like that, who showed them kindness and opened their home. It makes the whole situation even more tragic on so many levels. The community needs love and support to overcome this senseless act. While justice will hopefully be served through the legal system, I pray that Fred's family can find some peace in knowing how loved and cherished he was in the community. It’s clear he made an impact during his short life. Let's hope that Fred's story stands as a catalyst for change and more community support initiatives, so we can prevent future tragedies for other families.
