It's been a few days, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened to Daniel Ryan. I've seen several comments discussing the shooting itself and the suspect, but I wanted to focus for a moment on Daniel's life and what he meant to our community. I've known the Ryans from church for years now, and Daniel was the kind of person who always had a smile on his face. His motto, "Dream Big Dreams," wasn't just something he said; it was how he lived. He inspired so many of us to strive for more and to believe in the power of faith and kindness. Attending his service at Calvary was incredibly moving, seeing so many people from all walks of life coming together to honor him. It was a testament to how deeply Daniel touched our lives. If everyone who's ever been inspired by him could carry even a fraction of his joy and generosity, the world would be a much better place. My heart goes out to his family and friends — especially his parents and siblings, who are enduring an unimaginable loss right now.
