I can't stop thinking about Dillan and how tragic this whole situation is. It's so hard to wrap my head around the fact that a young person's life was taken away over something as meaningless as a small drug deal gone wrong. It's frustrating and infuriating that violence can erupt so quickly and with such devastating consequences. The impact on Dillan's family must be unimaginable, and I can't even begin to comprehend their pain. Seeing the community come together during the funeral service must have offered some solace, but the grief remains. These young lives lost will never have the chance to see what their futures could have been. I hope this serves as a wake-up call for others. Not just to avoid illegal activities but to understand the gravity of such violent decisions. My thoughts are with Dillon's loved ones, and I hope they find some peace during this incredibly difficult time.

I can't stop thinking about the families of Kevin Roman and Dillan Zubia. It’s unfathomable to grasp the pain they must be going through, having lost their sons in such a senseless manner. I read that Dillan's funeral was held at American Heritage. Knowing that the community came together to support Dillan's family during this time gives me a small bit of comfort amidst the overwhelming sorrow. It’s horrifying to think all this heartbreak stems from a fight over a small amount of marijuana. Sheriff Griffis’s remarks on being vigilant really hit home – it’s a stark reminder of how quickly things can escalate. I hope we as a community can learn from this tragedy and find ways to better support and guide our youth. Keeping Kevin’s and Dillan’s families in my thoughts as they navigate this devastating loss.

Has anyone else been wondering about the location choice for these tragic events? I'm trying to wrap my head around why the meeting happened at a Dollar General store. It's not exactly a discreet location if you're planning something shady like a drug deal. It just seems odd to me. Surely, there are more isolated spots if you're trying to avoid attention, especially for something as risky as a transaction turning violent. My heart truly goes out to the families of Kevin Roman and Dillan Zubia. Can't imagine the shock they're going through right now. But it just makes you question how and why these kids ended up in such a dangerous situation. It's so important for the community to come together and discuss ways we can prevent this from happening again, starting with understanding how and where our kids are spending their time. Any thoughts or insights?
