I can't stop thinking about the impact Kendrick's passing has on the kids he coached. Being so involved with the Waller Pee Wee Bulldogs, he must have been like a second father to those kids. It's heartbreaking how they have to process this loss at such a young age. From what I've gathered, he was more than a coach — he was a mentor and a role model. It's important we remember the ripple effects tragedies like this have on our communities, especially the young ones who looked up to him. I hope the support systems around them are strong and that they can find some peace while remembering the good times they had with Coach Wilder. My thoughts go out to every single one of them; they lost a true hero in their eyes.
