I've been following this terrible case and can't stop thinking about that 13-year-old girl who was unharmed but witnessed such a horrific event. It's hard to imagine the trauma she's going through right now, having lost family members in such a violent way. My heart truly goes out to her and the rest of the family trying to make sense of all this. I hope she is getting the support and counseling she needs to cope with this unimaginable situation. If anyone has suggestions on organizations or resources that could be helpful for her and other survivors of domestic violence, please share. It's crucial that she isn't forgotten in all this.
