Has anyone else been thinking about that baseball cap they found near Division Street and Jefferson Parkway in Daryl "Dice" Budenski’s case? I’ve been trying to wrap my head around its significance. Was Daryl trying to leave a clue, or did he just drop it while wandering due to his dementia? That area is decently traveled, so it makes me wonder why no one saw him or could say where he went from there. I often wonder if placing more signs around that intersection could jog someone's memory or if anyone passing through might remember something unusual from that day. It's haunting to think that something seemingly small could be a big piece of the puzzle. Thoughts on this or similar cases where finding something personal like this helped bring closure?

I'm really puzzled by the fact that Daryl's baseball cap was found in that ditch. Does anyone else find that odd? If he was known to walk around town, I wonder how it ended up there. Was it just an accident, or could it suggest he took an unusual route that day? Also, Division Street and Jefferson Parkway isn’t exactly close to Koester Court as far as I know. Did he get turned around because of the dementia, or was it something else entirely? I just feel like there might be a clue in that location that has been overlooked. Anyone familiar with the area who can share more context on whether that spot has any significance or potential hazards?
