Has anyone else been following the case of Isaiah Parker’s tragic death last Christmas Eve? I was particularly struck by the part where his brother, Stephen, talked about their last moments together. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and shock his family must be going through. Spending what should have been a joyful holiday together, only for it to end so horribly—it's hard to wrap my mind around. I wonder if the community is planning any vigils or events to honor his memory and to bring attention to the violence that's been affecting the area. Sadly, it feels like these incidents are becoming all too common. I hope the police are able to piece everything together soon to provide some answers and justice for Isaiah and the others who were injured that night. Keeping Isaiah’s loved ones and the rest of the impacted community in my thoughts.
