I just can't stop thinking about the bravery of the 13-year-old nephew during this horrific incident. It's truly remarkable how, in the face of unimaginable fear and chaos, this young boy had the presence of mind to protect his younger sibling and grandma by hiding them away and calling 911. It’s a testament to his courage and quick thinking, and I hope he’s getting all the support and care he needs after such a traumatic experience. It’s such a heavy burden for someone so young to bear. My heart goes out to him and the entire family as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time. Sending them all the strength and support possible.

Did anyone else read about the incredible bravery shown by the nephew during this tragedy? I can't even begin to imagine the fear he was feeling, yet he had the presence of mind to hide with the younger kids and call 911. It’s astonishing how, even in such terrifying circumstances, some people can have the clarity to act quickly. This young guy certainly showed courage beyond his years, and I hope he's getting all the support he needs after witnessing something so traumatic. It’s a reminder of how important it is for kids to know what to do in emergencies – not that we ever want them to have to use that knowledge in situations like this. Sending love and strength to the entire family and the community as they navigate this difficult time.
