I can't stop thinking about how crucial community involvement is in cases like Leontrey Alex Thomas's murder. How do we bridge that gap between what's known and what witnesses might hold onto for fear of getting involved? It's been over eight months, and the lack of arrests must be so frustrating for his family and friends. I wonder if there's more that could be done to protect potential informants. I know Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward, but beyond that incentive, how can we encourage people to come forward without fear of retaliation? Sometimes it feels like individuals hold the missing pieces needed to bring justice, and yet the fear or mistrust of authority might be holding them back. If anyone has ideas on reassuring potential witnesses of their safety, it might be a valuable discussion here. This is an opportunity for us as a community to support the family and hopefully put pressure on bringing the responsible individuals to light. My heart goes out to Leontrey's loved ones.

It's so devastating to read about Leontrey Alex Thomas's case. It's been several months since that tragic day, and still no answers for his family. What really gets me is the time and place this happened - broad daylight in a busy shopping center. How did no one see anything that could help lead to an arrest? It's unsettling to think that the suspects are still out there, and the community hasn't been able to piece together what happened. Makes you wonder about the safety of these areas we consider part of our everyday lives. My heart goes out to his loved ones. I hope they find some peace eventually and that someone comes forward with the information needed to bring some justice to Leontrey and his family.
