I can’t stop thinking about the role that surveillance footage plays in cases like this. It's so chilling to imagine that every moment of that tragic night was documented on camera. The footage supposedly shows Marquez calmly arriving at the bar and interacting with his ex-girlfriend, which just adds another layer to how premeditated this seems. It’s haunting to think of how the situation escalated from a possible misunderstanding or argument inside the bar to the horrific scene outside. It makes me wonder how much the presence of security cameras can deter or even push someone to act rashly, knowing they're being watched. I truly hope the video makes it easier to bring Marquez to justice swiftly and provide some measure of closure for Jose’s family and friends. Can't imagine the pain they're going through, and my thoughts are with them as they seek answers and justice.
