I'm deeply saddened by the loss of Damien Harris, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his children, Kyrin and London. What struck me while following this case was the vital role surveillance played in identifying the suspect, Deleon Davis. It’s a reminder of how critical these technologies can be in seeking justice for victims, although they can never replace the presence of a loved one. Credit to HPD for their persistent efforts and to the community members who stepped up to help. It's moments like these that underscore the power of unity in the face of senseless violence. My thoughts are continuing to be with everyone affected by this tragic event.
