I’ve been following this tragic case and my heart goes out to the entire family. One thing I’m curious about is the prior mental health calls to Bryan’s residence. It makes you wonder what kind of help he was getting, if any, and whether more could have been done to prevent this. It’s so sad to think that Leonor might have been trying to shield her son from his struggles while being unaware of the true danger he posed. Mental health is such a tricky and important topic, and it's devastating when it intersects with something as horrific as this. My thoughts are with Carlos and the rest of the family during this unbelievably difficult time.

I've been following the developments in the Kupriakov-Herrera case, and what strikes me is the tragic irony of Leonor Hernandez's efforts to protect her son, Bryan Fernandez, only for things to end in such a devastating way. It’s apparent from Carlos Flores’ statement that Fernandez's mental health was a known issue within the family. It makes you wonder how many families out there are silently struggling with similar situations, desperately hoping to keep things together without outside help. This tragedy makes it clear just how critical mental health support can be. It’s important for communities to have access to resources that address these issues before they spiral out of control. My heart goes out to the surviving family members who are now left to cope with this unimaginable loss. Hopefully, this case will shine a light on the need for better mental health interventions.
