Has anyone else been really struck by the mental health aspect of this case? It's so baffling and tragic. I was reading that the police had been called to the apartment twice before for mental health issues. It makes me wonder if more could have been done to prevent this from happening. The impact of untreated or poorly managed mental health on families is truly devastating. I can't imagine how Carlos Flores and the rest of the family are coping right now. Everyone must be reeling from the loss and grappling with the idea that these signals were there but things still turned out this way. It's a harsh reminder of how important mental health support and intervention can be. My thoughts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy.
