Hey everyone,
I've been following Joseph's case since it first broke, and something keeps bugging me. His boat washing ashore in the Azores is just so bizarre... Has anyone discussed the weather conditions at sea around the time Joseph went missing? I'm no expert, but could unusual tides or currents have played a part in how the boat ended up there? I've been trying to wrap my head around the distance and route the boat might have taken, but I can’t find much info. Maybe someone with maritime knowledge could shed some light on this? Any insights would be appreciated as it might help us piece together what happened after he was last seen.
Does anyone know if there's been any follow-up on Joseph Johnson's phone records or GPS data? I find it strange that his cellphone was last traced near Bald Head Island, but then months later, his boat ends up in the Azores. It seems like such a massive distance for a 19-foot boat to travel without anyone noticing anything. I'm curious if there have been any efforts to dig into whether his phone was active after he left the marina. Maybe calls, texts, or additional pings could provide some clues. With technology today, you'd think there'd be more concrete data available. Hoping any tidbits can help get closer to finding out what happened to him.
