Hi folks, I’ve been following the case surrounding Maikal Izaipe's tragedy, and there’s something about Hernandez Perez’s actions during his attempted escape that’s been on my mind. The fact that he tried to flee to Mexico speaks volumes about his state of mind after the shooting. It’s hard not to wonder what his plan was or if he had any support, considering the haste and desperation in his attempt. I really feel for Maikal’s family and friends—they’re left to deal with this immense loss and the painful process ahead. It's reassuring, though, to know that the authorities acted quickly to apprehend the suspect before he could flee the country. I hope justice is served and that Maikal’s loved ones find some semblance of peace in these incredibly trying times. Has anyone heard if there’s more background on the relationship between Maikal and Hernandez Perez? I think understanding that might shed some light on the situation.
