Has anyone else looked into the connection between the abandoned car and the mysterious call to the towing service? The fact that the car was operable, yet someone went to the trouble of saying it was broken down and trying to have it towed, is just baffling. It's almost like whoever did it wanted to buy some time or mislead any investigation. I keep wondering whether that call was just a random act or if it was somehow connected to her disappearance. Was there any forensic analysis done on the car or phone records from that era that could provide more clues? I know technology was limited back then, but every piece of information might help shed new light on this decades-old case. Anyone else have thoughts about this angle?
I'm really puzzled by the whole situation with Guyn's car being found abandoned. It's strange that someone would go through the trouble of calling a towing company using a fake name. What was the point? If they were trying to cover their tracks, why not just leave the car without drawing any attention to it? The fact that the car was still operable makes me wonder if it was meant to be found to create a distraction or mislead investigators. Does anyone know if there were any other cases back then with a similar MO where the abandoned car led the investigation astray? Also, did they ever figure out who made the call to the towing company?
Does anyone else find the call to the towing service super strange? The fact that this man gave a fake name and then disappeared raises a lot of questions for me. Why go through the trouble of calling a tow company and claiming the car if you're not actually planning on doing anything with it? And then leaving the car in perfect working condition just sitting in a parking lot? It feels like he wanted to mislead or delay people from finding it. I keep wondering if he knew Guyn or if it was a random act. It's just such an odd move for someone not wanting to be tied to the car. I’d love to hear other thoughts on what could’ve been the intention here.
