Hey everyone, I came across Brent Darel Sievers' case recently, and something that sticks out to me is the mention of the 23-foot vessel called "Hobo." Does anyone know what became of the boat or if it was ever looked into more deeply? It seems like the owner returned safely, but there’s not much info about how the trip went or if anybody else was aboard at any point. Given the long time that's passed, I wonder if anyone in the boating community might have memories from back then. Any former sailors or enthusiasts here who might have insights on how these sorts of small, long-distance trips were typically planned or documented in the early '70s? Could help to piece together more of what might have happened.
