Hey all,
Just stumbled across an intriguing detail about David Porter's case that doesn't seem to get enough attention. Has anyone ever focused on the fact that his swim fins were found inside the trunk of his Beetle when it was abandoned? Given how much he loved bodyboarding, it feels significant to me. I mean, if David left voluntarily or intended to go somewhere, wouldn’t he have taken his fins with him? Those fins might have had sentimental value or just been practical if he planned to hit the waves. It's odd they were left behind.
And why was the car thoroughly wiped clean of fingerprints? If someone else was involved, could they have been so meticulous to target only selected evidence, while missing the detail of the fins? These small inconsistencies keep bugging me as they point to a much larger story than what meets the eye.
Has anyone read anything more on this or have thoughts on the fin situation? Just trying to piece all this together with fresh eyes.
Thanks!
I recently came across an intriguing detail in the David "Boogie" Porter case that I hadn't seen discussed much. Did anyone else notice how quickly his VW Beetle vanished after being spotted at his mom's house? To me, that suggests someone was watching or knew his routine. It's like they waited for the perfect moment to move the car without drawing attention. The way it was later found wiped clean of fingerprints is super suspicious, almost like someone had experience covering their tracks. I've been wondering if anyone local at the time remembers seeing anything unusual around that area or maybe someone who might have suddenly disappeared right after Boogie did. Sometimes, small details or things we thought were insignificant can provide big breakthroughs.
Hey everyone,
I've been following David "Boogie" Porter's case for a while now, and something that's always struck me is how odd it is that his car was wiped clean of fingerprints. I mean, it’s 1976, and fingerprinting wasn't exactly like CSI today, but still—such a deliberate move. Whoever did it must've known what they were doing. It’s haunting to think that someone could take the time to remove any traces like that. Makes me wonder if it was someone who knew him well. The Hawaii police surely would’ve considered this angle, but without any fingerprints or other solid evidence, would it have made a difference back then? Such a pivotal part of the case and still no answers. If anyone has any insights or theories on why the car was left there or wiped clean, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Maybe there’s something we’re all missing.
