I've been diving into the details surrounding Charles Wallace Muller's disappearance, and I'm curious about that 1964 Volkswagen Beetle found under the Huey P. Long Bridge. It's such a distinct car and not exactly the kind to blend in easily. I've read that it was discovered without any signs of a struggle, but I wonder why it was left there of all places. Does anyone know if that area had any particular significance back in 1977, or if it was a common place for vehicles to be abandoned? It seems like such a specific location choice. Did the car have any mechanical issues that might have led him to stop there? Or maybe it was a known meeting spot for something? Just trying to piece together anything that might have been overlooked or has come up in local rumors or stories. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated!
