Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the community's response after the tragic events at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio. It's awe-inspiring how people have come together to support each other in such challenging times. There's a park nearby where I've seen so many heartfelt memorials being set up for Lilan Li and the other victims. It’s both comforting and heartbreaking to see how deeply loved they all were.
I've read about dance classes being organized in honor of the victims—completely free for anyone who wants to join, regardless of experience. It's such a beautiful gesture to keep the spirit of dance alive and to remember those who lost their lives doing what they loved. Does anyone here know if attending could really help people process and heal after such a horrendous act?
I'm hoping that by sharing, we can find ways to help each other and the broader community during this difficult time. It's been hard to wrap my head around everything, and any insight would be appreciated.

Does anyone have information on the incredible individuals who bravely stepped up during the Alhambra incident? I've been thinking about how these community members showed such courage and quick thinking in the face of unimaginable horror. Disarming the gunman undoubtedly saved lives, and it's a reminder of the power of community when faced with adversity. My heart goes out to all those affected, especially the families of the victims like Lilan Li. Losing loved ones in such a devastating way is beyond comprehension. In times like these, it's vital that we support one another and honor the bravery of those who took action. Sending strength and love to everyone in the Monterey Park and Alhambra communities.
