Does anyone have more info on the relationship between Hubert and his brother, Albert "Bud" Larkins? I keep reading about Bud’s confession, but I’m curious about what their relationship was like prior to Hubert’s disappearance. Were there any known tensions or disputes between them? It's important to consider these family dynamics, as they might shed some light on why things went south. Has anyone else been following the Hubert Hansel Larkins case and wondered about the supposed trip to New Orleans? I mean, it's been over four decades, and nobody seems to have solid evidence that Hubert made it there or who the friends he was supposedly traveling with were. Did the investigators ever reach out to people who knew him around that time to confirm who these friends might have been? It's always seemed a bit odd to me that if he really went on the trip, there haven't been any sightings or reports of him in New Orleans. Could it be that he never even left Kingsport? It just seems strange that such a significant lead never developed any further info. I'm hoping someone with more insight or connection to the case might shed some light on whether this part of the story was ever fully explored by detectives or if it's just been written off as a dead-end.
