I was going through news articles about this case, and one detail caught my attention that I haven't seen discussed much here. It seems that the ShotSpotter technology played a huge role in quickly alerting the police. I'm wondering, does anyone have insights into how reliable this tech is and how often it gets used in these cases? It's just so tragic that something like this even has to exist. My thoughts are with Lannie's family and friends, and I hope that they can find some measure of peace.
I’ve been closely following the tragic case of Lannie Ross, and one detail that keeps sticking with me is the role of the ShotSpotter technology. It's incredible how this system can alert police to gunfire so quickly, possibly even saving lives by getting help to the scene faster. It was just devastating that in Lannie's case, it couldn't change the outcome. I'm relieved they were able to arrest Sean Bryant with the help of the U.S. Marshals Task Force. The fact that a camera picked up their argument beforehand just sends chills down my spine. My thoughts are with Lannie's loved ones, who must still be processing this loss. I can't imagine what it must be like for them to live with such a sudden and senseless void. I hope Bryant's sentencing brings at least a small amount of closure and peace to those affected by this tragedy.
