I’ve been thinking a lot about the impact this tragedy must have on the children involved. Imagine how confusing and traumatic it must be for them. I can't begin to fathom what they're going through right now, losing their mother and another parental figure in such a violent manner. They weren’t there at the time of the incident, thank goodness, but the aftermath will likely be incredibly difficult for them to process.
It's crucial that we empathize with them and push for resources to support them through this challenging time. Does anyone know if they’re with extended family members or if any fundraisers have been set up to provide for their future needs? It’s heartbreaking to consider, but they’re going to need all the support they can get from both their personal circle and the community at large. If there are any updates or ways we can help, please share. Keeping these kids in my thoughts.
