Has anyone else been following the increased security measures at Banning High School since Austin's tragic shooting? It really does seem like the school and district are doing their best to ensure something like this never happens again. I've been reading about how they’ve beefed up security for the graduation ceremony and other events. I honestly can't imagine how the students and parents must be feeling, especially those who were close to Austin. It's good to see that the district is also providing counseling services. Community support is crucial during such difficult times. I hope these measures bring some peace of mind to everyone involved.
