Has anyone else been following the devastating events in Reedley last June? I keep thinking about Alfredo Salcedo Cuevas and the impact his loss has had on the community and his family. From what I’ve read, he was the backbone, juggling two jobs just to provide the best life for his kids. Losing someone like Alfredo is an unimaginable tragedy, especially in such a violent and random way.
I’m curious about the police protocol here. With the suspect having been released from prison just the day before and then going on such a spree, could anything have been done differently to prevent this? It’s shocking how fast things escalated. My heart goes out to Alfredo’s kids—I can't imagine what they’re going through. If anyone has more updates on how his family’s doing, please share.
