I've been following Miguel's case closely, and it just breaks my heart thinking about how cruel the world can be sometimes. I came across a note that there was some chatter in the local community about how these scooters have become notorious in certain circles. Apparently, it's not unheard of for gang members to use scooters for quick getaways. This gives me chills because it feels like the streets that people call home are supposed to be places where we all feel safe. I can't imagine how Miguel's family must be feeling, knowing that his life was cut short in such a senseless way. I truly hope that the LAPD gets the information they need to bring justice for Miguel. Hoping for more safety measures around Westlake so people can feel secure again. If anyone knows anything, please speak up. Miguel deserves justice, and his family deserves peace.

I can't shake the feeling of fear and sadness after reading about Miguel Velasquez Recinos' tragic passing. It's devastating that a promising life was cut short in such a brutal way. What really struck me is how it happened in an area where many people and families live, just trying to go about their lives. The fact that these suspects approached on scooters in what sounds like a premeditated attack is chilling. It's a stark reminder of how quickly violence can erupt and how vulnerable we all can be. I hope that by raising awareness and keeping this conversation going, someone will come forward with information. My heart goes out to Miguel’s family and the Westlake community. How do we even begin to heal and make sense of this senseless violence?
