Has anyone else noticed how troubling it is that a 14-year-old is involved in something this severe? I mean, it's just devastating to think of someone so young being caught up in such violent activities. This isn't just a case of bad influences—there's something deeply wrong that a child is part of this. My heart goes out to the families of both Fermin Ruelas and Alfonso Ramos. They deserve justice, but there also needs to be more focus on how we prevent our youth from heading down such a destructive path. What can be done to reach out to kids before they feel like joining gangs is their only option? I'd love to hear thoughts from others who've seen positive intervention programs or community efforts.
