Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Guillermo Kelly-Torres, and I can't stop thinking about how his artistic talents brought so much beauty into the world. It’s incredibly sad to know that someone who contributed so much to his community and family suffered such a senseless end. I came across this online gallery where he shared his photography and paintings, and you could really see the joy and passion he put into his work. It's a reminder of what a bright future he had ahead of him.
I also read how he supported his siblings back in El Rosario and that really hit home. It’s a testament to his character and the deep sense of responsibility he felt for those he loved. My thoughts go out to his family, both here and in Mexico. Losing someone so vibrant must be especially difficult.
Does anyone know if there's any way to support his family during this time, like a fund or something? It feels like the least we can do to honor Guillermo's memory and his spirit of generosity.
Stay safe everyone, and let's keep them in our thoughts.
I've been following this case closely, and my thoughts are with Guillermo Kelly-Torres's family during this difficult time. It's deeply unsettling to think about how quickly life can change. I've read that auction houses have sometimes held exhibitions for upcoming artists — what a beautiful way it would have been for Guillermo to share his passion for photography and painting with more people. It’s tragic that we’ll never get to see him reach his full potential as an artist now. As someone who loves art, I can’t help but feel a bit of personal loss too. Hopefully, this tragedy can at least serve to remind us all to appreciate the artists and creators around us and to support their dreams while we can. I hope Guillermo's legacy and love for art inspire others even after such a senseless act.
