I was reading about the tragic case of Robert Emerson Pitts, and something struck me about the location where it happened. It's really troubling that this shooting took place in what many consider a busy area with a lot of foot traffic, even at night. South Broadway isn't exactly off the beaten path, so I'm curious about the witnesses who came forward. Did anyone catch a glimpse of the assailant’s face or perhaps see which direction they fled? With so many people around, I feel like someone must've seen or heard something useful. My heart goes out to Robert’s family and friends. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they’re going through, but I hope justice comes swiftly for them. If anyone has any info, even if it seems minor, it might be the missing piece in solving this senseless crime.
