I've been following the case of Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer's tragic death, and while justice seems to be on the way with the arrest of Kevin Cataneo Salazar, there's something that I can't stop thinking about—the impact on Deputy Clinkunbroomer's family, especially his fiancée. Being recently engaged is such a special time, filled with hope and plans for the future. I can't even imagine the profound loss she's experiencing now, having those dreams shattered so abruptly and senselessly. My heart goes out to her and to his entire family. It's really comforting to see the community rallying around them through vigils and support; it shows the strength and compassion people can offer in dark times.
