I can't stop thinking about the children who witnessed this unfathomable tragedy. It's difficult to grasp how traumatizing it must have been for them to see this unfold right in front of their eyes. My heart really goes out to them. Having to live with such a memory is unimaginable, and I hope they're surrounded by a strong support system that can help them process and heal from this. It's also so sad to hear that there were ongoing issues in the household; I wish there had been more visible signs that might have helped prevent this outcome. This should serve as a reminder to all of us to reach out when we notice red flags in our loved ones' lives. Safety and well-being should always come first, and every life is too precious to lose to violence like this.
