The fact that four individuals saw no other way out speaks volumes about the immense pressures and stresses they must have been experiencing. It's important for all institutions to prioritize mental wellness as heavily as they do physical wellness. I have no connection to the LASD, but like many, I feel a strong sense of empathy for the families impacted by these losses. I can't imagine the pain they're going through right now. Has anyone heard any updates on what specific measures the LASD is looking into to alleviate workplace stress? I truly hope they're considering comprehensive and sustainable changes the department needs. Offering support resources is crucial, but so is fostering an environment where it feels safe and encouraged to use them. My thoughts are with Corina's loved ones and everyone else affected.
