I'm devastated to hear about the shooting in Central-Alameda, especially considering Amanda Gallegos was one of the victims. It really hits home how vulnerable those without stable housing are to such violence. Being homeless in Los Angeles is hard enough without having to fear for your life on top of everything else. I can't help but think about Amanda and how her life ended so tragically. Her story is a reminder of the dire need for better resources and protection for people experiencing homelessness. I hope the LAPD can find the suspects quickly and provide some sense of closure to Amanda’s loved ones and the community. Let's keep spreading the word and help in any way we can.
