Does anyone else find it odd how Herbert Frank and Volker Puschkeit's rental car still had all their belongings inside, including their passports? If they were planning to run off or disappear on their own, wouldn’t it make more sense to take their identification and essentials with them? It's like they just vanished into thin air. I’ve read some theories suggesting they might have been followed from Reno—possibly by someone who saw them win the money—but if that was the case, why leave the car and passports untouched? It seems calculated, yet the abandonment of such critical items feels hasty. Hoping someone here might have a fresh perspective or more info on similar disappearances in that area around the mid-90s.

Hey everyone, I've been going down the rabbit hole with the Herbert Frank and Volker Puschkeit case, and something's been bugging me that I wanted to mention here. Has anyone else thought about the fact that their passports were left in the car? I mean, if you were planning to disappear voluntarily or even just wander off somewhere, wouldn't you take your ID with you? Especially being in a foreign country. It just doesn't add up to me. In cases like these, it feels like every small detail could be a missing puzzle piece. What are your thoughts on this? Could it point more towards foul play, or am I reading too much into it?
