Did anyone else catch the detail about the street takeover near the scene? I've been reading up on how these things have become more frequent and how dangerous they can be. It makes me wonder if Craig Christy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. The chaos during one of these events could easily escalate, making it unclear if they played a part in his tragic death. My heart goes out to Craig's family and friends—it's absolutely devastating to think this might have been a random act of violence amidst the pandemonium. For anyone in the South LA area who might know something, please consider helping out. Even the smallest tip might be crucial in bringing some clarity and justice to Craig's loved ones.
