Has anyone else noticed how many theories there are about what happened to Leobardo Acosta Guzman? It's been over two decades since he disappeared, and not a single solid lead has come out of Webb County. I keep thinking about how he was left behind because he wasn't feeling well. It's odd to me that there hasn't been any trace since then. Webb County is a large area, but you'd think someone would remember seeing him given his description—quite tall and gray-haired.
Do you think it’s possible he tried to make his way back over the border for medical help? I can't help but wonder if the group he was with remembers more about the situation than they've shared. Maybe someone can look into records from that time or if there were reports of someone matching his description seeking assistance. Has anyone else found similar cases with few leads that eventually got solved? What was the key factor in those situations?
