I’ve been following the tragedy in Natomas with Roman Miller and Jason Sandoval, and my heart goes out to their families and friends. Something that's been on my mind is the aftermath for the survivors and the community. The 17-year-old girl who was injured... I can’t imagine the physical and emotional recovery she faces. It's so important for the community to come together to support her, not just now but in the long term. Trauma like this doesn't just disappear, and having a strong support network could really make a difference for her. We tend to talk about justice and finding the perpetrator, which is crucial, but I hope we also focus on healing for those directly affected. If anyone knows of any local resources or groups offering support, it might help to share them here. Let's keep the conversation going and not let this become just another statistic. Stay strong, Sacramento.
