On the night of October 27, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred in Sacramento's Natomas neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of 18-year-old Roman Miller and 17-year-old Jason Sandoval. The incident took place around 11:30 p.m. outside an apartment complex on the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue, following a large party. Both young men were pronounced dead at the scene, while a 17-year-old girl sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to a hospital in stable condition.
