Has anyone looked into the possibility of Elizabeth having sought refuge with a friend or acquaintance in Boston or Roxbury? With her having been in a tough spot health-wise and dealing with addiction, it's possible she confided in someone who might have been able to offer temporary housing. Sometimes people tend to disappear from official lines of sight to handle personal issues privately. I wonder if there are any shelters or addiction support groups from that time frame that might have registered an encounter with her. It might seem like a long shot given how much time has passed, but revisiting those contacts might provide new leads or at least rule out some possibilities. It breaks my heart to think of her children left wondering what happened all these years. If anyone else has any insights or other theories, please share.

I was re-reading Elizabeth Diaz's case and something that baffles me is her sudden move to possibly head towards Boston or Roxbury. If she went there, was she meeting someone? Maybe someone she trusted, given her situation? What do you all think about how and why she would've gone there without her meds? It’s been so many years, but these details just seem so crucial. Would love to hear your theories on why she might have chosen that course and what ties she might have had in those areas. I wonder if any new connections, friends, or circumstances might have drawn her there. It feels like such a significant piece of the puzzle that might help us understand her mindset and actions at the time.
