Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts about that tragic night on Lone Oak Road. I can't stop thinking about the impact Elijah "Godfrey Daniels" Berry had on our community. His work at the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre and all his efforts to educate others about the arts were truly commendable. It's devastating to know how his story was cut short in such a senseless way. What's really remarkable is how Elijah's passion for theater and film brought so many people together. I attended one of his silent film screenings once, and the energy in the room was unforgettable. I feel like he had this incredible ability to make art accessible to everyone, young and old. My heart goes out to his family and friends. They're in my thoughts constantly, and it’s touching to see how they're turning to organizations like Everytown for Gun Safety in this difficult time. It shows their strength and determination to honor Elijah’s legacy by trying to make a change. If anyone has more updates on the case or any plans for further tributes, please share.
