I've been following this case closely, and something that strikes me is why Poston was out and about, given his criminal history and prohibition from carrying firearms. It's concerning how someone with those past felony convictions still managed to get hold of a gun. It makes me think about how things might have turned out differently if those legal restrictions had been enforced more strictly. My heart goes out to Keyshawn's family and friends, especially considering how protective he was of his loved ones. It must be incredibly difficult for them to process a loss like this, knowing that someone with such potential and kindness was taken away so senselessly. I hope they find some solace in his memory and that this painful experience brings some attention to the gaps in our legal system to prevent similar tragedies.
