Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the day Jonathan Corey went missing? I was thinking, if he did plan to canoe back across Eld Inlet, the wind and currents might have played a significant role. I read somewhere that Puget Sound can get pretty unpredictable, especially in the winter. Maybe the currents were stronger than usual? It seems odd that all they found were his boots and jacket. Could it be that he got disoriented or faced a sudden change in the weather? Just trying to piece together what might have led to his disappearance. Would love to hear thoughts or insights from locals familiar with the area!

Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind about Jonathan Henry Corey's disappearance. Have any of you looked into the local weather reports from that day? The fact that some of his personal items washed ashore got me thinking about possible strong currents or sudden weather changes that could’ve affected his canoe trip. It might help explain why things ended up where they did and why he didn’t make it back safely. I know there were extensive searches, but it could offer a clue as to which areas might’ve been overlooked. Even small details might shed some light on this mystery. Anyone else here familiar with the Puget Sound area or similar cases where weather played a big role? Let's keep sharing our thoughts and digging into the details. You never know what piece of information might help bring some clarity to what happened. Thanks, everyone.
