Jonathan Henry Corey, a 20-year-old sophomore at Evergreen State College, was last seen on January 30, 2002, in Olympia, Washington. He planned to paddle his canoe across Puget Sound's Eld Inlet back to the college after being out on the water. About an hour into his journey, he contacted a friend to confirm that he had made it across. However, Corey did not attend his classes that day and was never heard from again.
